Dynalasers at Japan International Welding Show 2026

September 16–19, 2026 · Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo, Japan — Dynalasers successfully concluded its participation in Japan International Welding Show 2026, one of Japan’s leading exhibitions for welding, joining and cutting technologies.

At Booth 2-12-4, Dynalasers presented a selection of handheld laser welding and laser cleaning solutions designed around three increasingly important requirements in modern manufacturing: smarter operation, easier mobility and more efficient processing.

Throughout the four-day exhibition, the booth welcomed visitors from metal fabrication, automotive manufacturing, shipbuilding, precision electronics and other industrial sectors. Product demonstrations and technical discussions focused not only on machine specifications, but also on practical questions such as operator training, portability, process stability, surface quality and integration into existing production workflows.

The response reflected a broader change in industrial laser processing. Manufacturers are increasingly looking beyond output power alone and paying more attention to how easily equipment can be deployed, operated and maintained in real production environments.

Intelligent and Portable Handheld Laser Welding

For handheld welding, Dynalasers introduced two different approaches to the same market demand: making laser welding easier to operate without sacrificing industrial capability.

The D Series integrated handheld laser welder combines the laser source, welding gun, wire feeder and gas supply in one system. A 7-inch touchscreen and simplified two-level menu reduce the number of steps required for parameter setup and process switching.

This integrated design attracted visitors looking for a more practical alternative to conventional welding systems that require multiple external components and more complicated setup.

The D Series is designed around operational simplicity, but the focus goes beyond the interface. Core components and control algorithms developed in-house allow the system to support multiple processing functions while maintaining a compact architecture.

For manufacturers dealing with changing jobs, limited floor space or operators with different skill levels, this type of integration can make equipment deployment considerably easier.

S Series Shows a Different Approach to Portability

The Dynalasers S Series drew attention for a different reason: its lightweight design.

With a total machine weight of less than 22 kg and a compact volume of approximately 0.04 m³, the system is designed for applications where welding equipment needs to move between workstations, production areas or field locations.

Its intelligent wire feeding system supports automatic calibration and real-time speed adjustment, helping maintain stable wire delivery while keeping the overall system compact.

For many visitors, portability was not simply a matter of making the machine smaller. It was connected directly to production flexibility. Maintenance work, scattered workpieces, narrow working areas and frequently changing welding tasks all benefit from equipment that can be moved and set up quickly.

The interest shown at the exhibition reinforced an important direction for Dynalasers: lightweight equipment should reduce handling complexity without turning industrial performance into a compromise.

Laser Cleaning for More Controlled Surface Preparation

Laser cleaning was another major focus at Booth 2-12-4.

Traditional grinding, abrasive blasting and chemical cleaning remain common across many industries, but they can involve consumables, secondary waste, significant manual work or difficulties controlling their effect on the substrate.

Dynalasers presented two different laser cleaning approaches for these conditions.

The M75 continuous-wave laser cleaner is designed for higher-throughput industrial cleaning. Preset application modes simplify process switching, while real-time focus monitoring helps operators maintain the laser at an appropriate working position.

An optimized endpoint power-control system is designed to improve cleaning consistency across larger surfaces. Modular optical components also simplify maintenance by allowing key parts to be replaced more efficiently on site.

For applications requiring more controlled energy input, the P300 pulsed laser cleaner offers another option. Its non-contact process can be used for applications including oil removal, rust removal, paint stripping, oxide removal and surface texturing.

The system provides 11 scanning patterns, giving users greater flexibility when adapting the cleaning process to different geometries and automation requirements.

Together, the M75 and P300 demonstrated that laser cleaning is not a single-process solution. Continuous-wave and pulsed systems serve different priorities, from cleaning throughput to tighter control of the substrate and treated surface.

What Visitors Were Looking for in Tokyo

Technical discussions during the exhibition showed several recurring priorities among manufacturers and industrial users:

  • easier operation and shorter operator learning curves;

  • compact equipment for flexible production areas;

  • better control of heat input and surface condition;

  • reduced dependence on consumables and chemical cleaning;

  • easier maintenance and component replacement;

  • equipment that can adapt to multiple processes or changing production needs.

These conversations were particularly relevant in industries facing both production flexibility requirements and shortages of experienced technical personnel.

Rather than evaluating laser equipment only by maximum output, many visitors were interested in how the complete system would perform as part of their actual workflow.

This is also why Dynalasers continues to focus on the combination of intelligent control, compact design and practical industrial engineering.

Expanding Dynalasers’ Connection with the Japanese Market

Participation in Japan International Welding Show 2026 was more than a product showcase for Dynalasers.

It provided an opportunity to communicate directly with Japanese manufacturers, distributors and technical professionals, understand application requirements more closely, and demonstrate how the company’s laser welding and cleaning technologies can support evolving production environments.

Dynalasers products have obtained international certifications including CE-MD, CE-EMC, CE-EN 60825, FCC and PL e, supporting the company’s continued expansion into international industrial markets.

From China to Japan and other manufacturing regions worldwide, Dynalasers is building its global presence around practical laser technology rather than equipment complexity.

Moving Forward After Japan International Welding Show 2026

The four days in Tokyo confirmed a clear direction for industrial laser processing: users want machines that are not only powerful, but also smarter, lighter, easier to operate and easier to integrate into real production.

For Dynalasers, Japan International Welding Show 2026 provided valuable direct feedback from one of the world’s most demanding manufacturing markets.

Following the exhibition, Dynalasers will continue developing handheld laser welding and laser cleaning solutions around intelligent control, portability, process stability and practical application needs.

The exhibition has ended, but the conversations that started at Booth 2-12-4 will continue.
